The sky turned red with blood

They came, bringing havoc by flood

So many lives lost, so many relatives and friends

Terror seemed to never end

Shouting and shrieking thinking someone will respond

Alas! They died in despond

The famous hotels became necropolises as they came through sea

One Motive, devastation and taking away nation’s sleep

Giving crowd lifelong sorrow

They snatched such a thing that none can afford to borrow

Children’s chirpy faces were lost forever

Mother whose son will return never

May such a terror never returns

May time heals all the victims’ burns

Salute to all those men in green

For giving us happy peaceful sleep….
